I think that International Herald Tribune would look nice near Veilchenbleau (?sp) and some white roses and/or purple clematis or morning glories. You should like that one, Skiekitty, it has some of your favorites as parents.

I have some minis that are getting bigger than expected and a couple that are smaller and getting shaded. I didn't have enough experience with them to know how to plan the garden. How far do people plant their minis apart? What, if any, kinds of companion plants do you add with them? Any pics of fab mini plantings? Mine are in the front and along the walkway of my main rose beds. They seem to have more problems with blackspot at the moment, but that is partially my fault. I used lower doses of fungicide for them, at first, because they were so tiny. I prefer blackspot to dead from too much fungicide. I would like to get a version of "florabundaville" with minis.

Overall, I am wishing that I planted a few (3) non mini roses in different places and wondering if it would be worth the bother to move them and when to do so. I don't have much grass left, but I am seriously considering losing a bit more.

My groundcover roses are sending out nice big shoots. I tried to peg and root a few. I love them. Modem was fried. I am getting my pics in order to post more. I have also been painting my place, so it has been rather hectic!
