Oh, I don't find it surprising that he remembers what I grow. I gave him tomatoes and cucumbers last year and he commented that I never grow zucchini. So not surprising that he noticed the eggplant and zucchini this year. Plus the pots on the driveway are rather noticable!
Plus he thinks I am some sort of super gardener. Loves the roses and the tulips and all the flowers. I remember the year that I turned my veggie garden into another daylily bed he told me it was a very bad idea for me. That I would never be able to go without my veggie garden. He was absolutely correct in that!
