Hurray, I made spots for 5 of the zuchini plants. I was originally thinking of 3 then I realised I could have 4. Now I have made room for 5 but that is it. So I will plant 5 of the 6 pack and I should have plenty. I also have spots for all six of the eggplants. From never growing any to having lots (well, hopefully lots) all in one year.

My neighbor that is the great cook came by while I was out there working on the veggie garden. She had not even known about the zuchini and eggplant but she was very pleased when I told her about them. She immediatly claimed any extras. If they produce the way people say they do (like crazy) she might be sorry she said that! Rolling on the floor laughing

I also fixed up the area to plant the melons. Now to just hope I get good germination on my seed. I only had 3 seeds of Avara left from last year so I hope they sprout. Last year I started my melons way too late so I am not making that mistake this year.

I have a nice little collection of veggie seedling packs that are recycled with my own seeds planted this morning. The veggie garden is comming along great this year.

I also fertilized my tomato seedlings with AlgoFlash. It's a liquid. I tried it last year and love this fertilizer. I want to give them a good start.

Now I have my pepper, zuchini, eggplant and some cucumber seedlings to plant. Oh yes, some melon seedling I bought also. I am hoping I can plant this weekend. Holding off because I am checking the weather forcasts. Well the night time lows to be exact.
