Thanks! Yes, it is large and all mine to tend so I never get completely finished...
That's why I use landscape fabric lots of straw.
No one seems real interested in harvesting either,of course, my DH does help me on Fri. mornings for market stuff. He loves fresh veggies so he's always looking for what's ready and asking permission to pick!
I can grow pretty much anything, although my son nixed the idea of horseradish. Said it was invasive. But he was interested in Jerusalem Artichokes to feed the goats. Those things are invasive! I planted okra today. Old seed so I don't know if I'll get any germination. We don't eat it, it's strictly for selling at market.
I picked about 12 qts. of strawberries today. We don't sell those at market. We use them all. I am freezing most of them and keeping some to have tomorrow morning...on waffles of course!
I am still trying to get all my flower seedlings planted. I'm out of rows so I'm having to stick them here and there. They plowed up a new area for me but it needs to be rototilled first. Probably put mums, sunflowers, pumpkins and all the left overs up there.
Tomorrow I'm staying home and finally doing my planters. I have that lobelia tube planter thing to do, I bought two hanging bags for my impatiens and my sister gave me four raised flower boxes. If I get them planted I'll be happy. I also have lots of large pots but not sure I'll get to them. I have enough to plant in them, just not sure about soil. DH will probably have to make up a mix in the morning. Then on Sunday I'll do it at the farm with my DIL so we have lots of pots of flowers around her house as well. (besides in the garden)
