Evan......this plant is in a friends garden here. It has grown quite quickly but Hosta do well in his garden, His shade is mainly from large oak trees and he doesn't rake the leaves in the fall. He just lets them disintegrate like on a forest floor. When he bought the plant several years ago they sent him a larger start and a small one. Unfortunately the smaller one has reverted to solid green. I'll visit his garden one of these days and see how it looks this spring and post a picture,
