Thanks for ideas on how this might be done with different vining plants.
I had heard of this, ---but did not know how it would be done or with which plants.
This is an excellent way to have a "living mulch".
I seed watermelon in among the tomatoe plants in containers.
We are too cold here and too short a season,---- to get fruit, but the vines are pretty
and keep moisture around the tomatoes and weeds from sprouting.
