Love the article and well written! I like sweet potato vine to help shade some of my plants in the hot summer. I have a lot of dappled shade, so just an hour or two of hot Texas sun can kill some of my ferns ...)
Someone also gave me the idea to put pumpkins(bought, not grown) in the vine to look like a seasonal pumpkin patch.
