Well, good thing about the rain, but hail...yeah, not good! I had heard something about Houston getting some kind of bad storm, so probably the same system. Blow it in our direction. I'll even accept a little hail if it gets the rain here. This area is so dry that as soon as I finish watering the yard, the water starts evaporating immediately, even if it's early morning. The deer are back and very desperate. I've got a bucket and two water bowls outside the fence and just picked up another bag of deer feed. The birds are always thirsty and hungry lately. Two feeders going for them and lots of water containers sitting around inside the fence. La Nina is believed to be ending this month, but I see absolutely no sign of that yet!
