At my old place I put up 11 feeders and had probably 150 hummers. They stayed in their territories so they were pretty easy to count. I never once saw them go to my daylilies even though they flew right over them. Some would perch on them while guarding their feeder, but never fed from them. Now the butterflies loved the daylilies.
