I ordered a bunch of roses in November. The site sent me an e-mail notification immediately.
The roses arrived a day before a foot of snow third week in February. So I packed them in snow until I could plant them five days later. They looked well developed, and well kept (In contrast to those I received last June.) I pushed back the snow, dug the holes, stuck them in the ground, and watered. It all seemed a little surreal to be planting in the snow. But then daytime temperatures are frequently in the mid sixties. So maybe it was a good time to plant - certainly better than mid June! Will see how they do.
