Sherry is that verbascum a perennial rather than a biennial? If so, I may look for that for my herb garden. I've been having my sister in eastern Washington bring me a common mullein (V. thapsus) every spring to fill that slot. She is always chastising me, telling me there are much prettier verbascums out there (yours is gorgeous).

Although I rather like my big thugs...and they don't reseed for me.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
