Oh Neil I haven't even begun to fight yet. They keep adding more hurdles in the mix. The results from my PET scan was not the best. There is spots on my left lung, 5 of 7 lymph and spots on the bone. Stage 4 I am considered now. BUT my heart, colon, kidneys, bladder, liver, diaphragm and brain are all good. Ed being the comedian he thinks he is asked are you sure? She actually does have a brain? That helped to calm the mini meltdown.
I've traveled many rough paths over the past 57 years with large hurdles and small ones, this is just one more speed bump to get over. I refuse to feel sorry for myself and refuse to let it get the best of me.
Prognosis was god. NEVER NEVER NEVER was the word terminal used; and the doc said statistics showed that people 35 years older than me and unhealthier than I am now had lived 5 years and that with all that I have going for me I could ba around decades and decades. Sorry you're stuck with me here on thread for at least another 20 years!
