We still have strong wind gusts, but it looks like the rest of this huge rain band will pass to the east of us. I've measured over 4in. of rain this morning!

Won't need to dunk any of the orchids this week, they all got a thorough rinse with nice fresh rain water. All the rain barrels and cisterns are full, too. Yay! Hurray!

The best thing, though is when these tropical systems go by they take the humidity away with them, for a day or so at least. It is beautiful and cool outside right now.
