I love Bucks roses! A lot of people do not realize that most of them were bred from Hybrid Tea roses. I went through a Buck phase when I bought a ton of them.
Oh how I loved them but they didn't like my no fuss gardening style and rural Z5 growing conditions. Sure they would survive the winters but most didn't thrive
To be honest I think they are over rated for their toughness and for my growing conditions, they were'nt anymore vigorous than say Hybrid Tea roses rated for Z5.
Only 2 stood the test of time...Applejack & Prairie Princess although PP has petered out the last couple of years. Applejack is a 5 x 5 shrub and pretty much disease free.

Freckles is one I really love!
Its on it last legs. :(
