Here is a link to the American Hemerocallis Society --- the page for Florida. You can scroll down to see the individual clubs to see if one is in your area. That would be a great place to start if you are interested in dl's. The club I joined has annual dues of $5 Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing & the first year is free. When you go to meetings, you get a free dl each time you go plus you get points which you rack up for attendance & help with sales & this, that & the other. Those points can be used to buy dl's. There are always dl's for sale at the meetings & they usually run $5. Then they have auctions & you can bid on ones. They have daylily garden tours & picnics & all kinds of events. Every club has a sale once a year. You can meet other dl lovers & ask them if they have Siloam Dbl. Classic & they may even offer you a fan or 2 or a clump for free or for a small price. They can also tell you the ones that have performed well for them.

You can also buy dl's on The Lily Auction

You can get some great deals there on dl's you would not otherwise afford. On the dl forum, the Lily Auction is referred to as the LA & here is a thread talking about experiences with buying from different vendors on the LA.
The thread "LA Sellers" in Daylilies forum

Here is a link to Earlybird daylilys website. Robin Calderon owner. She is wonderful! And if you order from her you can be sure you will receive MORE than you ordered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is closing b/c of the terrible drought that has been ongoing for years now in Kansas where her garden is. You can read about it on her home page. I can assure you the plants you get from her will be healthy, giant & tough! She doesn't have Siloam Dbl. Classic but if you put Siloam in the search box, you will see she has a number of Siloam hybrids. She also sells on the LA under the name Earlybird. She has a great deal right now on 75 mixed fans of spiders & UFO's.

Another great place for info. is on our own dl forum here on ATP. Join us over there & just lurk or ask questions or whatever.

I would gladly share Siloam when I get it from my cousin but I'm sure there will not be enough to share. Sad
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
