Good evening. This is a copy of the e-mail Mr Reidmuller sent to succulent and growing managers re info that came back to him from the webmaster at SedumPhotos.net re my plant. He followed it up with a call to let me know they are doing further research into it and he will get back to me as soon as they are all in agreement. For the time being mine is being tagged white blooming Sedum spiralis....will have a more solid ID for it before long. They are also looking into Villadia batesii possibilities.

"This was the email I got regarding our Sedum mexicanum. After looking on the sedumphotos.net I'm pretty sure it's what he's calling Sedum 'Spiral Staircase', He Says:

It's not sure as to where this variety comes from. It could be either a hybrid or a species. If it's a species, it is probably from Mexico. It is very floriferous with relatively large white flowers. It was named 'Spiral Staircase' because of the spiral arrangement of the leaves. Evergreen.

Check it out and see what you think http://www.sedumphotos.net/v/s...
