That's a good info to know Hetty. my grafting experiment is just what it is... an experiment. I didn't think it will be successful but it satisfies my own curiosity :).

If I later on decide to make a real rainbow tree, then I will pay attention to (quote Cyra) "matching the growth habits of the scions".
