Alex, it's been a very crazy year for many of us, and you are right about it being the exact opposite of last year! One thing I did read though was that some of those very tiny scapes are very late rebloom from the previous season. I'm not sure if that was the case or not with the ones I had that were only a couple of inches, but it makes sense. Almost every daylily I have is supposed to rebloom, and yet I've only had one that has actually rebloomed at a normal time.
