Have decided to throw out the struggling ponytail palm..have checked the root zone, dead roots, bark continues to be loose and when I accidentally peeled off the upper bark layer..yuck! Saw little worms on it..no wonder the plant is so dead..eaten alive already..oh well..better luck next time! Shrug! At least I still have one alive and doing well. Smiling
