I still can't believe that I saw one of them! Seeing two of them together was more than I ever expected. Actually, I was beginning to think it was an urban legend (or rural legend?), and people were confusing coyotes with the wolves. Well, there is no confusing them after seeing them. I just wish that they weren't so far off, but I also didn't want them any closer. They were about 500 yards away when I tried taking pictures, which turned out blurry. They got as close as about 300 yards, but ran into the trees, so I couldn't get a picture then either. I picked up some film when we ran into the town, and I'll use my regular camera with the good zoom lens, if I'm lucky enough to see them again.
