I had an ear infection. The antibiotics are finally kicking in. Then I had to catch up on things. It had been a tough winter, but spring should be better. It doesn't feel like spring at the moment, I had to drag a bunch of plants in and cover some others. It may dip down to 32'F tonight. Right now it is 46'F.

I wasn't sure if it was going to rain or not. The weather forecast kept changing. So I watered anyway.

I had an omelet for breakfast, saving the shells for the garden, of course. I don't typically eat sugar. I don't even have any in the house at the moment. I'll have to get some for the hummingbirds next time I am at the store. I do have some Splenda to occasionally make myself a diet treat or sugar free cocoa when I have a craving. I feel best on a high protein diet. Ironically, I still like to bake for holidays or special occasions.

I am behind on veggie starting. Last year I was too early. Eventually I'll get it right. I am not sure where I will put them once they are ready to go out -some kind of containers somewhere-but the price of produce has inspired me to grow more veggies.

All the prime garden space is devoted to flowers, especially roses. They feed my soul and lift my spirit.
