Jay, that is a cute pic of the Gulf Frit Cat! They will devour the leaves but it's so nice to see them around knowing there will be more beautiful B'flies in the near future!

Linda: I've not seen many Butterflies yet this year for some reason. Hopefully more will appear as the summer progresses ... we used to get lots of Zebra Longwings but the past two years not so much; but that kinda goes for some of the others as well ... and yet, so many things are in bloom that the B'flies love ...

My neighbor's Passiflora is suddenly devoid of the Gulf Fritillary caterpillars ... there were four or five on it last week and also Gulf Frit's flying all around the plant (hopefully to deposit more eggs.) I haven't noticed B'flies around the plant this week either. Sad I sure hope the neighbor didn't spray the plant thinking they were an unwanted pest. Crying
