Irises Lilies Roses Region: Southwest Gardening
I pretty much gave up on roses that got it in NJ because most died of it. Not many HT's survived, but Olympiad, Midas Touch, Electron, and Memorial Day seemed to do fine. Most Austin roses worked except for the yellow tinged ones Cressida and Golden Celebration (Graham Thomas and Mary Webb did just fine.) I was surprised to find that minis such as Rainbow's End, Cupcake, and Winsome suffered from it - almost terminally. Gourmet Popcorn sailed through unscathed. Floribundas did okay, most of them. So did the roses in the Canadian Explorer series.
When you dance with nature, try not to step on her toes.
