The bunnies seem to be going nuts everywhere. I just saw a mischievous bunny photo in the California cubit. I've never had a problem with them here (knock on wood).
I guess Buck roses really are meant for the cooler zones. They're among the worst in my garden as far as black spot is concerned. I always look at them and wonder how they ever got a reputation for disease resistance.
