in Tmail because of revealing mailing addresses, mine and theirs.
That's where I've been explaining that I send a package after I receive
their postage payment. Before frost, I always have many plants or
cuttings that I need to find a home for as I prepare for winter.

Many of my plants go all the way back to DG - that was before the
postage rates kept going up and up and up. And now, they are
saying the post office is in serious default. What next?????
Sad Grumbling Shrug!

The post office is NOT in serious default. They have been required to do something which no other gov't run program has been asked to do, which is to prepay their pensions for umpteen years, and that money has been transferred to other areas. (Wars, maybe?) may have the details wrong here, but the problems with the post office have been seriously misstated. "They" just want to privatize everything,so the profit will go to "Them" and they can charge what they wish. As in the general push to "privatize" everything.
