I went to my local garden center this weekend to check out their selection. I swiped a rose bloom to compare colors and it looked really nice with Fire Chief and Obsidian. Ok with Georgia Peach. They didn't have any Caramel or Midnight Rose left, but an employee I spoke with thought Caramel wouldn't look very good with the rose and that Midnight Rose would look the best but that the pink splotches tend to turn beige in the summer.

What are your experiences with Midnight Rose staying true to color? Also, how does Fire Chief compare to Fire Alarm? From what I've read, Fire Alarm is an improvement on Fire Chief?

I attached some eye candy. ;)
