What a great feature, Dave! I finally got up the courage to try one and, as always, am a bit lost on one of the plants. I show a Penstemon in image #133 (??) but cannot figure out how to tag it back to the database. I looked up Penstemon in the db for the general entry but it refers to a red Penstemon only and I am sure that the one in my garden is a volunteer from a purple Penstemon that wasn't entirely weeded out at the start of this project. I would like to tag it if possible but am at a lost (no surprise here
) as to how. All of the other Penstemons that I saw are named varieties.
Deb, great timing for your great posting! I was trying to sneak in a comment or two in the boxes I drew but when I saw your post, I knew that was the better way to handle it. I added the site and soil conditions as you recommended so, hopefully, I got it all
