Several years back, I saw a test garden in Oklahoma that had groups of 6-8 of many new roses. It was an extremely hot day, and only one group among 50 or so groups looked happy. I made a note to find that rose. The next year, it was introduced as Julia Child and I bought 3. It still stands out as an exceptional bloomer in extreme weather.
