I'm officially in 9, but our lowest winter temps have been in the 18-20 range, which is lower than the "average" they use for 9.

Janice, you might consider putting your echis into a small pot buried in the larger pot so they'll be easier to bring in during the winter. I know several people who do that with succulents that can't handle the winter temps.
