That's a sweet cottage. Banksias do eat houses, but they're easy to prune, luckily, because they have no thorns.
That's either Love or Snowfire, Angie. It's hard to tell them apart, but Snowfire has killer thorns, whereas Love has plain garden-variety thorns.
