Ok, just had to rescue this poor plant from Lowe's clearance sale. It's only labeled Native NJ. Another customer at the store came up to me an asked if I knew what it was. He said it looked like Bee Balm. He bought two of them. I heard Bee Balm and not knowing anything other than they attract Hummingbirds, Bees and Butterflies grabbed one myself. A native plant has to be good right. I did some research and it does look a lot like Bee Balm. Anybody have Bee Balm and can verify this. The plant is already 2-21/2 feet tall. The top is full an very nice with new growth. The base was dry as a bone and the stems are kinda squarish. Got the baby home and first order of business was a soaking in water. I'm including some pics in hopes someone can Identify this plant for me.
