OH OH!!!!! I see that my squashes are coming down with powery mildew. Googled mildew on squash and apparently they are very prone to it in hot humid conditions. Guess what it is around here? Especially lately. Hot and very humid. I spayed some with the hand sprayer but that was tiring so I ordered a battery powered one gallon sprayer on Amazon just now. Will make the spraying easier. Can't use the hose end that I use for the roses are I need a fine mist and to be about to get under the leaves.

But on the good side, this morning I was up in the cucumber patch and getting the stray cuke vines helped to climb up the trellis netting. I have so many cucumbers set, I will be eating cucumbers very soon. Straight eight and Burpless have ones near ready.

Meantime I am so impressed with the Camilla Cucumbers. All female variety, each blossom has a developing cucumber. Loaded, loaded, loaded with cucumbers. I am wondering how they get seeds for this variety.
