Since I posted pictures of my first seedlings here in this thread and these really did bloom in June also, I decided to post these follow-up pictures here, even though we're into July now.

I'm pretty excited because the second bloom on my seedling "Gibson Cove" had some TEETH! It's a cross of BUTTERFLY COVE X BASS GIBSON, so I was very hopeful that it would have teeth down the line, but not really by the second flower. And it also has quite a bit of diamond dusting, too. If you enlarge the second picture you can see it -- almost looks like it's wet and a little sparkly. I'm starting to try some crosses with it now, and so far I have one pod developing. But it's still in a 1-gal pot so I have a long way to go, plus I will consider this a bridge plant because of the narrow petals.

And here is my "Alien Starship (STIPPLED STARSHIP X ALIEN FORCE) on a later bloom, and in the second picture I have two blooms of its daddy, ALIEN FORCE, at the top of the picture along with mine, which is quite a bit shorter. ALIEN FORCE is a really tall daylily, and I'm happy that my seedling is shorter since I'd eventually like to end up with toothy smalls and minis.

I like these so much that I'm now pretty ho-hum about my very first seedling ("Way Cool Alien") that I posted here. So that one may be given away after (or if) I see rebloom...
