All the photo's look great.I love the way Hoya's bloom and there are so many different ones, each with a different bloom but all with 5 pointed star shaped blooms. They are the first plants i fell in love with when i started growing house plants about 3 or 4 years ago!!!

On the web site succulent-plant.com there is a page for Hoya's.It's a good web site for all succulents.I noticed under Hoya culture there was some information that might be of interest.
Ivy,It talks about your H.shepherdell under Hoya culture and there may be more information your interested in,I just noticed the plant because i had just been reading the posts here.It is the shepherdell & not the shepherdii you have right??
I haven't found a lot of good sites with correct information about Hoya's.It really helps growing them to know where they are found in the wild.I have found knowing that bit of information to really help with how much sun, water, humidity and how hot & how cold they can take it.

Here's the link: http://www.succulent-plant.com...
There's a good Q & A here: http://www.international-hoya....
Another web site i like is:http://www.hoyor.net/en/
I have been on these sites because every now & then i check to see if the DS-70 has been patented or named differently.I've had the plant for almost 3 years & i guess it's just going to be the DS-70.
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
