I have a few Rhipsalis myself, i love the unusual look of these plants.Mine are all outside in partial to filtered sunlight. You have to introduce the sunlight slowly or they will burn. They turn a beautiful red after being in some sun.I find it helps if you can get them IDed correctly research where it's from & go from there. My R.'sulcata' bloomed for the 1st. time this year.
I also hang mine under tree's so they are sheltered some from rain, wind, sun.

A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
