I would say any moisture you can keep off them at this point will help them out. Smiling

You do want some air circulation under the plastic, so if you
cut bamboo stakes to hold up the plastic.... like a tent

2 winters ago, I had to do this, when we had excessive moisture with no drying out and it worked perfectly.
