wow, didn't know that mom was red, too. Only saw 1 cardinal in the 3 years I lived in NNY.. but then again, I didn't spend a lot of time looking at birdies.. when I had free time, I spent it looking at water for fishies (I fished a LOT in NNY). Sometimes, the weaker baby gets tossed... that's the way it is in the wild. But they do look a LOT like my baby canaries!

Wish I had a place for an obelisk like that one.. I have roses that could go on it, but no place to put 'em. Very beautiful! Smiling
