We use PVC pipe as a frame with shade cloth over the frame. That did the trick for the 'not yet established' semps.

Lynn, regarding the photo: is this sort of your "acclimation bed"? ...one that you put semps in not ready for putting in your permanent semp beds? I see that the labels are not your permanent ones so everything in that bed is in transition?
