I agree with you that they don't look the same. I think Lynn my have gotten hers from me, but I'm not sure. It's hard to tell relative sizes from the pics, but mine stay under 1" in size with most being about 1/2-3/4"". Keep in mind that mine are in a colony while Lynn's are just starting to form one. A single rosette, given lots of room will often grow much larger than the typical size in a colony.

This variety is also very dynamic with a short lifecycle. They produce lots of offsets, but also die back a lot.
