I confess I panicked when it looked like tulip breaking virus.
It was late in the day and weather was going to be awful the next day so I dug them ( biggest bulb was size of grapefruit.It killed me)
I had both Robina and Satisfaction in large trash bags.
DD came home the next night and asked about them..I narrated the whole long story of how stupid and impulsive I had been to dig so soon."If I had waited another day for more input on the phenom,I would have seen a couple of "heat stress" suggestions"
DD convinced me to replant so I did. The Robinas are back with more compost,thankfully I left long stems.
