Just to give you an idea how good these work....Here is a cutting of an Echinacea I did a couple of years ago. Echinacea won't grow a plant from this type of cutting, but someone told me I couldn't root a stem cutting of an Echinacea. Never tell me I can't do something! I figured out that the stem has to be slit vertically down the center. Then I made sure the Clonex gel got into the center of the cutting. That worked so now if I have a very difficult to root plant I always slit the end of the stem. You can learn so much from just trying something despite what people say!
