Cheryl, post a photo if/when you do your final braid. You gave me a good idea to likewise 'braid' a leaning curly willow out in my yard. I hooked it onto itself here and there to straighten it up. Looks much better. Time will tell if it will continue to lean toward more sunshine or if perhaps it is now tall enough to stand on its own.
