Very cool addition. I can scan, get a plant on my phone for later reference, like when I happen to be shopping at garden centers.
Deb, there are cheap smart phones. I have a $59 Virgin Mobile Android one. No contract.
An iPad or Kindle makes a nicer reader than a tiny phone, but the phone works OK. iPads can get 4G service, I'm not sure about other tablets. If you're traveling in a trailer, simple wifi might not suffice.
