Update: Roots are forming on my second 'Black Lace' Elderberry cutting. It roots on both green and old wood. YAY! I prefer the green wood because it seems to grow faster.

Roots are also forming on my 'Tangerine Beauty' Crossvine cuttings. Thanks to the girl at Burger King who gave me permission to take a cutting. Rolling on the floor laughing I'll post photos of those cuttings in a few days when the roots grow out more. They are just nubs right now. One of them is even getting buds to bloom which really is surprising to me. If you root one of these, take a cutting that has the tough, dark green leaves. I cut the young growth tip of the cuttings off too and then cut three cuttings out of the length of vine.

In addition, my Cape Fuchsia cuttings are rooting. These are three different colors: yellow, purple, and magenta. The hummers are going to be happy!

I'm still waiting on the rose and winterberry cuttings. This winterberry tree is special because my Dad selected it from wild trees, and it has berries that last longer than any other winterberry I've ever seen! I need to take photos this year and show everyone how long the berries lasted. They were still on even when the new berries started forming.

I rooted one of the hardy Hibiscus in 3 days. I'll have to post a photo when the roots get out good. It seems the smaller cuttings root more quickly of those.
