Last year was my first year with Yard Long Beans. Before that I did not know what they were. I grew Blue Lake Pole Beans for years and years and years. Even last year. But when I compared the taste of the Blue Lake to the Yard Long Beans, the Blue Lake Lost the taste test. Not that there was anything wrong with them. Just that the yard long beans were so much better.

Now last year I grew three types of yard longs. Figure I might as well to see what I might like best. I have the Red Noodle, Green Noodle and the Asparagus Beans. Well, I liked the Asparagus beans the best. So this year that is what I am growing. The Yard Long Asparagus Beans. So tasty. Sweet and tender. Love them. Lovey dubby

Always wanting to try new things I also this year an growing French Fillet Beans for the first time. They are supposed to be gourmet beans. Mine have some small beans on them so I did taste and they were wonderful. I think I found another winner!
