ShadyGreenThumb ~ the only spider that gets curly in sunshine is the one called Bonnie. The more sun it gets, the curlier the leaves become. This is a link to a photo of the one I loved and lost...
I also have one of the Hawaiian spiders. It sat on the front porch in bright shade and I noticed the color became drab. I have moved it out under shade cloth and am hoping the unusual variegation returns. The new baby spiders on it show more of the color than the older plant.
