August is the month for our Northern Lights display, and the "Perseid Meteor Showers'. Sunday night should be peak viewing with up to 5 to 15 meteors streaking across the skies per hour. And better still, we are going to have clear night -time skies with no rain this weekend. Lovely time of year.
