Why can't chickens have spuds? Mine eat them and I haven't noticed any particular problem. I put all scraps in a bucket for the chickens and just toss it over the fence. Some things they don't seem to like, and just scratch it into the ground. I think most animals are self-regulating, although that may just be wishful thinking on my part...
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
