Swayback, I wonder if perhaps your plant got cold damaged?

I'm really thrilled. My "boss" at the botanical gardens just gave me a two-fisted rooted cutting of S. leendertziae. He said his was getting out of control, hah! What a great guy.
In the end, only kindness matters.
