Indica is my best guess too .. Canna's are really easy to grow from seed but don't expect it to look like the parent. If you want to try some from seed you'll have to break the seed coat which is very hard and thick. I use a pair of pliers to hold onto the seed then take a hack saw and saw til I see white then score the rest of the seed a bit so the coat breaks easily once it starts to germinate. Plant about an inch under the soil. They'll come up pretty fast and sometimes bloom the first year.
